This was an unused identity from my time at Traffic design Consultants. Printmakers of Scotland are a collective of original printmakers who live and work in Scotland. The idea behind the mark is combining a pfeil lino cutter with a thistle. The pfeil is a commonly used tool by printmakers and can be seen in the negative space of the logo. The thistle is more abstract but can be seen clearly when the mark is used in full colour. Having a connection to Scotland was a key part of the brief.
